The Nigeria Immigration Service(NIS) Rivers State Command in line with the Comptroller General of Immigration, Isa Jere Idris mandate to encouraging productivity through welfare package for officers and men has inaugurated a five- man committee to design a welfare initiative for operatives of the service.
They are to be drawn from the Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) of friendly organisations that relates with the service in the area of health care,affordable lifestyle for staff in supplying food stuff and other consumables for the wellbeing of officers and men of the command at affordable rates.
According to the Command explained that as a prudent way of engaging its officers and men,their health care and family is of essence,hence the need for this welfare committee.
It further explained that ,no officer is tasked,rather friendly companies assist in supplying consumables that are essential for the needs of the officers.
“We appreciate the leadership of the Comptroller General of Immigration Service Isa Jere Idris for taking officers welfare utmost in his leadership mandate,” the Command said.
