Nigeria Aviation Forum (NAF) is to hold its inaugural summit with the theme: “Fraud Trigger, Detection, and Prevention: An experience from Nigerian Airline Industry”.

The Convener of the event and Founder 7-Star Global Hangar, Engr. Isaac Balami explained that the theme was inspired by a dissertation in Fraud and Risk Management approved by the Salford University UK and Robert Kennedy College Switzerland.

The online summit, according to the Convener will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 11 am via Zoom with speakers from Aero, Dana, Arik, Peace, NCAA, AMOs, among others.

Other speakers lined up for the event are : Chief Executive Officer at West Link Airlines ·Capt. Ibrahim Mshella, former Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Benedict Adeyileka, former Managing Director of Aero Contractors, Capt. Ado Sanusi, Aviation consultant, Dr. Daniel Young, Convener of the event and Founder 7-Star Global Hangar, Isaac Balami David, President, Aircraft Owners, and Pilots Association of Nigeria/former Chief Executive Officer, Associated Airlines, Dr. Alex Nwuba, Principal Managing Partner, Avaero Capital, Sindy Foster among others.

NAF 2022 is a research-driven event promoted by the 7 Star Global Institute of Management, Science, and Technology to gather experts and aviation practitioners’ insights as well as the passengers and diverse stakeholders towards optimising and engendering global best practices in the industry.

The Convener said that it is very important when mirrored on the basis of the role that the industry plays in the global/National economy.

The finding from this event, he said will be shared with all the participants and public and private organisations working within the aviation industry as a fraud mitigation framework.
