Bayelsa NIS Comptroller Begins Schedule Exercise To Boost Officers Morale

 

 

The  NIS Bayelsa State Command Comptroller James Sunday and officers and men in his Command during the exercise.

 

The Nigeria Immigration Service ( NIS) Bayelsa State Command Comptroller James Sunday, has set a standard for fitness for the officers and men of the Command in an effort to keep the soul and body fit and relaxed for effective service delivery.

A statement signed by the   Bayelsa State Command, Ibeinmo-Cookey Ebitimitula, explained that the exercise is also part of effort to ensure sound judgement and high level professional standard worthy of an internationally acclaimed service such as NIS.

Speaking during the exercise, the Comptroller said that NIS is a service that relates with both the locals and international communities in the delivery of its mandates and statutory assignments.

To buttress his point, the Bayelsa State NIS Comptroller quoted a popular saying which says that, “You are address the way you dress” and that keeping fit officers, who appears smartly dressed is key to every organisation with a high standard both in operation and human relations.

The Comptroller said that the exercise schedule for Tuesday and Thursday every week will go a long way to keep the officers fit and smart both in uniform and at work in line with international best practice and expectation.

The officers and men of the Command appreciated the Acting Comptroller General Isa Jere Idris for the choice of the Comptroller, who according to them has propelled and boosted the officers morale for maximum performance.
