The Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II, has welcomed a set of quadruplets with his fifth wife, Esosa Ewuare, into the Benin Royal family.
Recall that the Oba had, in May 2020, welcome his first infant Prince after he ascended the throne of his fore fathers as the 40th Oba of Benin from her Royal Highness, Iyayota Ewuare.
Oba Ewuare II, disclosed the good news this at 4:57p.m at his palace on yesterday in Benin City.
At the Palace , it was jubilation galore when the traditional ruler broke the news
According to Oba Ewuare II, the quadruplets are three males and a female.
The monarch paid tribute to God Almighty and the ancestors for the blessing.
The Presiding Priest of the oldest West African Church, Holy Aruosa Church, Ohen-Osa Igbinoghodua Edebiri, offered prayer to God for wisdom and guidance for the newborns.
The brief ceremony coincided with the visit of the national executives of the Immaculate Conception College, Benin City, which is the alma-mater of the monarch.
Esosa Ewuare is the fifth and youngest among the wives of the Oba.
