NIS Hands Over Two Girls Arrested For Allegedly Attempting To Use Tampered Passports To NAPTIP

 

 

 

The Zonal Coordinator, Zone A, Assistant Comptroller General(ACG) Doris Braimah, has handed over two girls arrested with altered passports at the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport(MMIA)while attempting to board a Cairo bound Egypt Air; to National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons(NAPTIP) officials in Lagos.

According to a statement signed by the Service Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller Immigration(DCI), James Sunday, the handing over ceremony came with a serious warning from the Comptroller General of Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede to the general public to avoid any attempt to using fake,tampered,stolen passport in a desperate attempt to travel out of the country,as it will always be discovered and those involved apprehended and prosecuted.

Babandede advised travellers to always use recognised routes,valid travel documents to travel in a dignified manner,especially through the nations International airports and other entry and exit points.
