
The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammad Babandede has commissioned an approved NIS Paint Colour for the Technology Building in Abuja.
Babandede, who commissioned the project at a brief ceremony at the NIS Headquarters, was accompanied by the management team and building engineers from Julius Berger; the contractors handling the Technology Building.
The CGI also commissioned a new borehole at the Commercial Area reserved for businesses at the service headquarters.
A statement by the National Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller of NIS, James Sunday said that the two ceremonies were conducted same day.
Babandede appreciated the team of building engineers from NIS for a good supervision and adherence to standard that fits into the working pattern of Messrs Julius Berger PLC known for standard in the construction industry.
He emphasized on good finishing and use of best materials that befits a world class structure such as the Technology Building, which he fondly refers to as the “Immigration Moon” that will attract visitors and tourist when completed.
