After several days of dilly dallying, President Muhammadu Buhari has finally recognised Mr Victor Giadom as the Acting Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC) .
As a result, the President will attend the National Executive Council (NEC) virtual meeting of the party called by Giadom and fixed for tomorrow.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Malam Garba Shehu, confirmed this on his verified Twitter handle, today.
He said that the President Buhari has received very convincing advice on the position of the law as far as the situation in the party is concerned and that has determined that the law is on Victor Giadom’s side as the Acting National Chairman.

The Presidential spokesman stated that the President would always act in accordance with the law.
“The President will be attending the virtual meeting Giadom called for tomorrow afternoon.
“We urge the media to stop promoting manufactured controversies and to not give any further room for mischievous interpretations of the law on this matter.
“In addition to the President, the Giadom meeting will, hopefully, be attended by our governors and the leaders of the National Assembly,’’ he said.
