
As the Journalists International Forum for Migration (JIFORM) prepares to host the fourth edition of its online summit, speakers from the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP),Migration Counselors from Germany, Ghana Immigration Service, Bostwana Anti- Human Trafficking Agency, and Tunisia have confirmed their participation.
The participation of these speaking was made known in a statement issued in Lagos today by JIFORM President, Ajibola Abayomi.
The event with the theme, “Migration: Remedies For COVID-19 and the Economy” will be hosted on Zoom and the WhatsApp platform of the international media body with over 200 journalists across the continents covering migration related issues.
Ajibola further stated that NAPTIP and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) have also signified intention to part of the event.
The JIFORM organised programme is scheduled to hold in two sessions between May 29 and 30, 2020 and June 5 and 6, 2020.
