The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced eight new cases of confirmed COVID-19.
According to NCDC Nigeria now has 89 confirmed cases of COVID – 19.
NCDC, who made this in a tweet, stated that seven of the new cases are in Lagos with one in Benue.
However, of all the cases, only one death has been recorded while three infected persons have recovered and were discharged.
All new cases, NCDC said have mild to moderate symptoms and are currently receiving care.
A multi-sectorial national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at level three, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
