Lagos Aviation Academy (LAA), Nigeria’s top aviation, travel, and tourism school has awarded scholarships two contestants to study the Cabin Crew Ab-Initio course at the just concluded Cabin Crew Contest organised by the Crew Training Institute (CTI).
LAA, whose mission is to be the Best Aviation Training School in Nigeria and West Africa, has been actively involved in grooming seasoned professionals in the Nigerian aviation industry.
LAA has taken steps leading to this goal; one of which involves identifying young and unique talents in the country and sponsoring their education through scholarships.
The General Manager, Lagos Aviation Academy, Ms. Chinasa Mbene, while addressing Mr. Dickson Odikwue and Ms. Bolaji Omosipe, the recipients of the scholarships, said, “On behalf of the management and staff of LAA, we are pleased to present this scholarship award to you. Lagos Aviation Academy is passionate about building careers and developing young talents in this industry.”

Organiser of the contest, Ms. Katheryn Lademo, noted that the purpose of the Cabin Crew Contest was to educate the flying public on what the scope of a flight attendant’s job, the rigorous process involved in becoming one and most especially, to give wings to the dreams of many young people who want to tread this path.
Lagos Aviation Academy (LAA) is an IATA Authorised and NCAA Approved Training Organisation located in the central district of Lagos Mainland.
The Academy commenced operations in the year 2017 with the objective of raising competent aviation professionals in the industry.
