FAAN Constitutes Task Force To Improve Vehicular Traffic At Lagos Airport

 

 

 

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) said that it has constituted a task force to ensure improvement in the flow of vehicular traffic the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

This was made known in a statement issued by the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mrs Henrietta Yakubu .

She stated that the essence of the task force was to foster effective landside traffic management.

The objective of the task force, which is made up of officers from the aviation security department and other relevant security agencies, the statement said shall be to control vehicular movement, prevent unauthorised parking at terminal forecourts/curbsides and enforce the drop-off/pick-up zone policy of the airport.

FAAN in the statement advised passengers and drivers to cooperate with the officials and ensure compliance to the guidelines given by the officers, adding that the agency is committed to its core values of safety, security and comfort.
