The Chief Executive Officer, Selective Security International Limited, Mr. Ayo Obilana has confirmed that he would speak at the League of Airports & Aviation Correspondents (LAAC) 22nd Annual Seminar schedule to hold on July 19, 2018 at Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos.
At the August event, Obilana will be presenting a paper on Security Funding
Obilana, a former General Manager, Aviation Security, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the Whitwort University, Spokane, Washington and he is professionally certified by International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) as an Aviation Security(AVSEC) specialist.
Obilana, who is a Fellow of the International Institute of Professional Security is also a Member of Association of Licensed Security Practitioners of Nigeria (ALSPN) and a member of Aviation Round Table (ART), an association of aviation professionals.
Between 2006 and 2008, he was Lead Consultant for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) during the ICAO Universal Security Audit of Nigeria, after which Nigeria was highly rated in security.
Obilana has participated in several Presidential and Ministerial Committees on Airport Operations/Security.
He worked in the United States for six years, where he garnered experience in industrial security business, working in Chicago Illinois, Fort Wayne Indiana and Portland, Oregon respectively.
He is also the author of Security Dynamics In Aviation & Industrial Environment published in 2018.
