FAAN Restores Power After Minor Hitch At Lagos Airport


The management of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN) said it has restored power at the domestic wing of the General Aviation Terminal(GAT) Murtala Muhammed Airport(MMA),Lagos which occurred at about 19:00hours, Monday, December 18, 2017.

An online statement issued by the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu informed the general public that a minor spark occurred at the domestic  terminal.

The statement added that however, “our team of  engineers had since swung into action and power has been fully restored back to the terminal and seamless operations have  also started.”

The statement assured airport users of safety and security at FAAN ‘s airports,while apologising to passengers, airlines and the general public for the inconvenience caused by this interruption.
