As part of efforts to ensure that illegal parking is not the order of the day at the Murtala Muhammed Airport(MMA),Lagos, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN) has increased efforts towards sanitising the airport.

The latest move is also to ensure that airport users park their cars at the recently commissioned ultra-modern car park at MMA,Lagos

An online statement signed by the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu advised travellers, who wish to use personal cars were instructed to use the newly commissioned car park.

The statement added that the authority has provided buses to aid those who wish to make use of the temporary car park, where airport shuttles are currently domiciled at no charge.

Meanwhile, FAAN has finalised arrangements  to increase the number of buses available for this operation as soon as possible,

The latest arrangment, FAAN stated would drastic reduce traffic gridlock at MMIA, while crowd control would also improve tremendously as a result.

According to the agency ,the new arrangement will foster better security and safety at the airport.

FAAN apologised to to its esteemed passengers and airport users for any difficulties they might be encountering due to the latest arrangement

The agency pleaded with  passengers and airport users for understanding,promising to continuously deliver watertight security, safety and seamless facilitation at the nation’s airports.
