The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has assured air travellers and other airport users of safety, security and comfort at its airports across the nation, as Nigeria celebrates her 57th independence anniversary.

The General Manager, Corporate Affairs, FAAN, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, gave the assurance in Lagos today.

The image maker said this in anticipation of the annual surge in passenger traffic that is usually the experienced during this celebration, adding that all the necessary safety and security facilities and arrangements needed to ensure the seamless facilitation of travellers have been put in place at the airports.

According to her, “Our aviation security, fire and other operations officers at the airports are fully ready to play host to our highly esteemed guests, who would be travelling through our network of airports to celebrate with Nigeria.”

While wishing the nation a happy independence anniversary celebration, FAAN, she stated remains committed to her core values of safety, security and comfort.
