…Says Transaction With Bank Not Mutually Beneficial
The National Association Nigeria Travel Agencies(NANTA),an umbrella body that accommodates over 600 travel agencies in the country has withdrawn its account from a first generation bank; United Bank for Africa (UBA).
Sources close to NANTA told Abelnewsng.com that NANTA decided to withdraw its accounts because there was nothing to show for the long relationship between the travel agency body and the bank.
Abelnews.ng.com learnt that in the course of their relationship, the bank neither visits the association nor supports the body to grow and develop, as expected of banks.
The source added that it was based on that score that the National President of NANTA, Mr Bernard Bankole approached other banks that cherished mutually beneficial relationship to take over NANTA’s lucrative account from UBA.
Attempts reach the spokesperson of the bank proved abortive, as he could not be reached.
