As the March 8,2017 date for the closure of the Abuja Airport runway draws near, rehabilitation work is in progress on the Abuja——Kaduna highway in preparation for the closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport(NAIA) Abuja only runway and the use of the Kaduna International Airport as an alternate.
This is in response to reservations expressed on the condition of the road by prospective air travelers.
