NANTA Boss Commissions Eastern Zonal Office In Port Harcourt

In a blaze of glory and historical turn around, the President, National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA), Mr. Bankole Bernard has commissioned the ultra-modern office of NANTA Eastern Zone since it was created over 30 years ago.

Vice -President, NANTA, Eastern Zone and National Internal Auditor of NANTA, Mr. Chima Ihe James, led NANTA President to dedicate and cut tape to the duplex office of the association in the garden city.

Addressing a large turnout of  the association  members from the zone which covers Akwa Ibom, Imo, Rivers, Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, Delta and Edo States,  Bankole expressed immense happiness at efforts to have their own office, which past leaders in the zone could not bring to light and advised them to remain united and fight for the progress of each other.

He later answered various questions from the members and also educated them on new development in the sector.

“Better days are coming” he assured the cheering NANTA members and promised to make the association a true creator of wealth to members, the government and people of Nigeria.

According to him, “We must work and remain together and leave the rest to God” he added promising to furnish the expansive office even as Air France/KLM donated fridges and other office equipment to the association. Amadeus also donated a bus to the zone to enable effective coverage of the zone by the leadership, steps appreciated and described as the “way to partner.”

The Air France/KLM, Manager for South and East Nigeria, Mr. Peyo Labequerie, praised the efforts of NANTA members in the zone, hence his organisation’s quick response to help out.

At a dinner in honour of NANTA  President, the Internal Auditor and VP, Eastern Zone thanked Bankole for his support to the zone, praying that his tenure would help turn around the fortunes of stakeholders.

In attendance at the dinner was also NANTA Board of Trustee, Chairman, Mr. Steve Isokariari.
