Panthelope Technologies, an IT firm, has launched a new application; LaundryBag, a tech-enabled, on-demand laundry and dry cleaning mobile app service aimed at providing laundry and dry cleaning services at an affordable cost.
The application allows its users order a wash by adding laundry items to a virtual laundry bag which will be picked up, cleaned and delivered to the user’s doorstep all within a promised 48hours turnaround time.
Speaking on the new application, the Founder/Technology Lead, Panthelope Technologies, Ikenna Iloeje said, “The application was built bearing in mind the busy schedule of Nigerians in mega cities, particularly Lagos.
LaundryBag provides real-time notifications of your laundries progress; customers also get to pay only when cleaned laundry has been delivered”.
LaundryBag promises to give its customers that extra convenience, quality, full control, price flexibility and lower rates than the next-door laundry shop, all within a remarkable turnaround time.
“Our prices”, Iloeje continued, “are location-based and quite affordable. It will be most unfair to offer same rates across all high-brow to low-brow vicinities.”
According to Iloeje, “the #UberForX euphoria is gradually gaining grounds especially in Lagos; the tech-hub of the Nigeria. With the likes of Uber, EasyTaxi, GoMyWay and now LaundryBag, we can safely say the on-demand market is here”.

Recalled that Panthelope Technologies launched Traffic Lite Social GPS and Maps, a community-based traffic application aimed at providing real-time traffic updates to subscribers on its platform in December 2014.
It has since been regarded as one of the top applications to help navigate traffic in Lagos State.
