…Says Lagos—Kaduna Route Will Commence March 15
The Managing Director of Medview Airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole has attributed the airline’s continued patronage and increase in passenger traffic to passengers’ friendly services and on time departure and arrival.
This is just as he disclosed that Lagos-Kaduna flight will commence Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
He made the declaration while speaking with journalists at the airlines corporate headquarter in Lagos
The Med-View hinted that the airline has witnessed tremendous patronage and goodwill on both the local routes, adding that this was as result of the services the offers, its on time departure
This, he stated had endeared the passengers to the airline and that the airline will continue to offer satisfactory services to its passengers both on local and international flights.
On the Lagos –Gatwick route ,which some stakeholders have thought would be a major challenge for the airline, Bankole said the challenges of operating Lagos-Gatwick were there but that the airline has done very well so far,as could be rated as the best Nigerian airline on the route.
He further explained that the airline was making good its promise especially on in-flight catering, as with Nigerian dishes have been introduced onboard
According to him, “See our London flight, we said we would serve local food and we are serving amala(local yam flour), fish pepper soup we are doing what we say and keeping our passengers happy. We keep to our promise. We treat them like Nigerians, with respect and dignity.”
AbelNews recalled that Medview Airlines commenced flight to London, Gatwick in November and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on December the 31, 2015.
Bankole said that both operations have been great.
According to him, “As we speak, our flight just came in from Jeddah, it left yesterday and we had a 125 passengers going to Saudi on it in a 165 capacity aircraft, Jeddah is doing very well and as for London there is no single seat left on return from the summer.”
He explained that one of the major reasons why passengers want to fly MedView is because of its s on time departure, adding that this has helped to create a niche for the airline.
According to him, the domestic operations of the airlines have also peaked with a good load factor and a daily passenger figure of almost 2000 passengers on the domestic scene daily with the equipment being used.
“ As at March 10, we flew 1, 634 on the domestic route and we do so with the number of aircraft we operate but our operations have come to show that it is not the number of aircraft or size of the fleet that matter but how best to utilise the equipment and we are utilising our equipment quite well.”
He revealed that the airline’s Lagos-Kaduna flight will commence Tuesday March 15, 2016 and that hopefully the route will also do well like other routes the airline operates and Medview will make the route exciting for passengers.
According to him, the flight which will take off from Lagos at 7.30 am in the morning will arrive Kaduna at 9am and on its return trip the airline will fly Kaduna to Abuja and then Lagos, on Mondays, Tuesdays Wednesdays and Fridays
Bankole further stated that from 2 o’clock every hour of everyday Medview will have a flight taking off from Abuja to Lagos.
In his words, “From 2 o’clock every day we have a flight taking from Abuja, one at two another at three, one at four; another at five and one at six. We have return flights from Maiduguri, From Yola, from Kano and every one of them takes off from Abuja on the hour and with good passenger figures”.
